RQF Level 1 Mental Health Awareness – 1 Day Course

This introduction to mental health is a brilliant starter course, or useful refresher if you’ve not taken any previous mental health training. 

Spread across 1 day, broken into chunks, you will come to feel confident in your knowledge of what mental health is, be able to easily recognise some common signs of mental illness and be able to describe common mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, stress and some eating disorders. 

You will finish the day knowing how to have supportive conversations and with a good idea of what professional support is available and how to signpost to it.

First Aid for Youth Mental Health

FAA RQF Level 2 – 2 Day Course with assessment

  • Discover the signs and symptoms of common mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression and psychosis.
  • Build the skills to support and signpost to professional help if needed
  • Grow your awareness to be able to recognise abuse, eating disorders and develop your confidence to be able to start difficult conversations with ease
  • No previous study required to take part – all learners will be supported within the live online class

Course fee: £250 per person, includes ebook, assessment fees and certificate.

All students will be offered a 121 call after completion to support them with their on going learning normally worth £95

Class runs from 10am – 2.30pm on both days. Select starting day, course runs across 2 consecutive days.

First Aid for Mental Health

FAA RQF Level 2 – 2 Day Course with assessment

If you’ve been looking to learn more about mental health – this short course will arm you with the knowledge and experience to feel confident and equipped to support those around you with maintaining their mental health. Spotting potential problems can help you to protect the mental well-being of your staff, team members and those around you. 

With workplace stress affecting 1 in 6 people, and stress being one of the major factors preventing people from performing at their best, empower others by reducing the stigma around mental health issues and increasing your awareness of the differences we all have with mental health first aid training can only serve to increase productivity and workplace satisfaction

This mental health training is suitable for anyone who works with other humans. If you’re in management, lead a team or would like to be a workplace first-aider – building your understanding of mental health conditions will enable you to spot problems and signpost to professional help. 

 No previous qualifications are necessary, though some mental health knowledge may be useful. You will be reassured throughout the day and support is there for any knowledge gaps.

The qualification has been designed to enable you to recognise various mental health illnesses and be able to implement strategies such as a first aid action plan for mental health, along with developing the skills to better manage stress and have supportive conversations.
